Waterloo Region Grassroots Response to the Ukrainian Crisis was formed out of the desire to help. We’ve heard from hundreds of people that you have many times to donate: clothing, furniture, and toys. While Waterloo Region Grassroots to the Ukrainian Crisis isn’t accepting large amounts of donated items we are accepting specific items requested by families in certain situations. If you have items you would like to donate and you are unable to hold onto the items please donate these items to local thrift stores instead of sending them to the landfill.

If you would like to donate a larger amount to help with a specific initiative please complete this form.

We are currently restructuring our donation process. If you would like to join our team please complete our volunteer form.

If you would like to donate to the new 13-bedroom facility in Maryhill please reach out directly to us at

We are currently setting a new goal of raising $40,000 over the next 4 weeks to help pay for rent for Ukrainian families moving to this facility.

If you are able to help please complete this pledge form. We will follow up with you about how you can donate.

We will also be accepting donations of furniture, kids’ items, clothing, and items shortly. Please check back for the full list and details for drop-off.
