Join us at the end of each month for our monthly employment event.

Are you a volunteer helping a Ukrainian find work?
Are you a business interested in hiring a Ukrainian newcomer?
Agenda:
1) Networking to meet employers, volunteers and organizations who are hiring or can help you find employment.
2) 45-Minute Speed Table Topics
Everyone will form small groups based on industry.
In these groups Ukrainians who are looking for employment will have an opportunity to talk with businesses who are hiring. They will also be able to talk with volunteers who want to help them find employment.
3) Presentations:
- Permenant Residency (10 mins) by Kitchener Waterloo Multicultural Center
- How to remove restrictions on your work VISA (10 mins) by Kitchener Waterloo Multicultural Center
- Government subsidy for employers that are hiring Ukrainian Newcomers

- Collecting resumes for White & Black Roofing (hiring10+ people right away)
- Collecting resumes for Luxe Staff, looking for 5+ people to work on luxery estates
Visit our Waterloo Region Grassroots tables;
- Talk with one of our volunteers and an immigration specialist about the immigration process in Canada
- Talk with volunteers who can explain various careers: Health Care, Small Business Ownership, Woodworking Business, Construction & Manufacturing.
- Talk with several of our employment volunteers who has spoken with over 50 businesses who are currently hiring and interested in accepting your resumes. Learn more about these companies and how you can apply:

We will have volunteers at the event to help with translation.
We are counting on the community to help share this event with Ukrainian newcomers who are looking for employment. We also need your help inviting as many businesses as possible to this event. Please invite anyone that you know who is hiring.
Volunteers are also needed to help with translation support and to be connected with someone who needs help finding employment.
Children are welcome at this event.
