Grassroots Response is excited to partner with Community Justice Initiatives to invite our host families to an online information session about the Open Homes Project.

Open Homes is a well-established initiative (running for over 15 years) that connects welcoming Canadian host families with refugee claimants who need temporary housing and support as they begin their new life in Canada. The project offers more structured legal protections, resources, and support options for host families compared to Grassroots current Ukrainian newcomers' hosting program.

If you have hosted Ukrainian newcomers with Grassroots and would like to explore expanding your impact to help a broader range of refugees, this session is for you.

What to expect:

• A short, clear overview of the Open Homes Project
