About the Hespeler House

The Hespeler Guest House was made available to Grassroots in February 2024.  The owners of the property intend to replace the guest house with a mixed use building in the future, but Grassroots expects to be able to make the House available to newcomers through the end of 2024.  More information about the history and future plans for the House can be found here.

The Hespeler Guest House is located at 12 Tannery St E, Cambridge, ON N3C 2B9.  There is easy access to public transit, with the nearest bus top within a 5 minute walk. You can get acquainted with Hespeler - the central district of Cambridge - its properties, attractions, places of interest you can on the website.

The Hespeler Guest House is divided into 5 apartments with a total of 13 bedrooms.  At present, there are 2 apartments available.  This document will be updated as more apartments become available.  All available apartments are fully furnished.  See below for more detailed descriptions and pictures.

Tenants of the House are required to pay rent.  Rent is due on a month to month basis.  There is no deposit or last month rent required.  Rent includes accommodations and utilities.  The cost of rent depends on the size of the apartment and bedrooms in the apartment.  Grassroots has attempted to keep the rents as low as possible, with the goal being to simply cover the costs of operating the House.
