We are a volunteer-led group focused on helping displaced Ukrainians fleeing war and arriving in Ontario

Building Networks Across Ontario for a Brighter Future

We are a volunteer-led grassroots group from the Waterloo Region that was founded in February 2022 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. We are your next-door neighbors, your co-workers, your family, people you go to church with.

Why Moving to Northern Ontario is Beneficial for Ukrainians

Grassroots held a series of webinars on this topic. Speakers from Thunder Bay, Perry Sound, Timmins shared information about the peculiarities of living in these cities, the advantages and distinctive features of rural areas, provided many useful resources for studying the features of these cities. The most frequent questions that interested Ukrainians were the possibilities of getting a job and the local PR program - RNIR. Welcome to our YouTube channel, where we posted several videos from the webinars.
