This past weekend, we hosted the grand fundraising event "Voices of Resilience," aimed at raising $10,000 to support Ukrainian new moms. This unforgettable evening brought together more than 100 people from different parts of the world for a common cause — helping those in need.
The most memorable part of the evening was a video featuring the voices of a journalist, a filmmaker, a student, and citizens of Kiyv and Zaporizhzhia. Speaking from different cities in Ukraine, these individuals shared their stories and urged Canadians to continue supporting newcomers. The video touched the hearts of all attendees.
Key Speeches
The event featured a speech by Stephanie Goertz, founder of Grassroots, whose dedication and sincerity inspired everyone present. Stephanie emphasized the importance of collective efforts during such challenging times and expressed gratitude to everyone who joined this noble cause.
Members of the Federal Parlament of Canada and the Provincial Parliament of Ontario also visited the event and gave speeches. The presence of MP Morris, MP Louis, and MPP Clancy was a powerful demonstration of solidarity and a readiness to provide aid at the governmental level.
Main Sponsor
Special thanks were extended to the event's main partner - LIONS CLUB OF KITCHENER, whose generous contribution played a vital role in achieving our goal. The support from the partner and the entire community was invaluable, showcasing the power of unity and kindness.
Thanks and Conclusion
On behalf of the organizers, we would like to thank everyone who participated and supported us. Your generosity and kindness helped make this evening truly unforgettable. Together, we will raise the necessary funds. So fundraising is keeping going.
May this success mark the beginning of more good deeds and remind us that, by joining forces, we are capable of great achievements. We believe the "Voices of Resilience" will continue to resonate and draw attention to your involvement.
