It was a terrible morning in Ukraine.
Today, the terrorist state launched another missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions were affected. The main blow was inflicted on the capital: 22 dead and more than 70 injured by mid-day on July 8, including a newborn baby and a 30-year-old nephrologist.
The rocket landed in the building where children with severe kidney disease are being treated and are undergoing blood dialysis there, that is, the children were "tied" to blood purification machines. At the same moment, an operation was taking place there.
The intensive care unit, operating room, and oncology department were damaged by only one rocket.
"Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. One of the most important not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe exclusively CHILDREN'S hospital. "Ohmatdyt" saved and restored the health of thousands of children... Russia knows where its missiles are flying, and must fully answer for all its crimes: against people, against children, against humanity in general. It is essential that the world is not silent about this now and that everyone sees what Russia is and what it is doing," President Zelensky wrote.
On behalf of Grassroots Response, we express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and again call not to remain silent and not to forget about this terrible war in Ukraine. Be with Ukraine, help to Ukraine.
UPD. In Kyiv, following a missile attack by Russian invaders, 33 people tragically lost their lives as of 10:00 on July 9, as reported by the KCGA.
